Monographs of teachers of SevGU won the competition of scientific publications

Teachers of Sevastopol State University were among the winners of the II All-Russian competition for the best scientific and educational publication “Academus.” Summing up the results of the contest and a solemn ceremony of presentation took place on October 31 in the House of Russian Abroad named after A.Ya. Alexander Solzhenitsyn in Moscow.

The aim of the competition is to demonstrate achievements in science, technology and education presented in monographs, textbooks and teaching aids, to draw readers’ attention to the results of research published in textbooks and monograms, to open new talented authors to the general public and to encourage them to further research work.

The organizers noted the active participation in the competition of representatives of Sevastopol State University, who became almost the only Crimean contestants and the only representatives of the Southern Federal District in the list of winners and laureates of the contest.

The winners in the “Acadmus” competition were brought to their creators:

monograph “Philosophy and culture of Latin America” ​​(Kolesov Mikhail Semenovich, nomination “Humanities”);
monograph “Generalized mathematical model of the spatial displacement of a drilling vessel” (Kramar Vadim, Dusko Veronika Rostislavovna, Dusko Vitaliy Valerievich (nomination “Physics and mathematics”)
Diplomas of the laureates of the contest included:

textbook “Automatic control of machining processes” (Bratan Sergey Mikhailovich, Levchenko Elena Alexandrovna, Nikolai Ivanovich Pokintelitsa, Alexander O. Kharchenko, nomination “Engineering and technical sciences”);
the manual “Metalworking machines and equipment of machine-building productions” (Kharchenko Alexander Olegovich, nomination “Engineering and technical sciences”);
monograph “Generalized mathematical model of the spatial displacement of a drilling vessel” (Vadim Kramar, Veronika Dusko Rostislavovna, Vitaliy Valerievich Dushko, nomination “Physics and mathematics”)
textbook “Mathematics for economists: the foundations of the theory, examples and tasks” (Peschansky Alexey Ivanovich, nomination “Physics and mathematics”);
the training manual “Maritime conventions SOLAS 74 and MARPOL 73/78 (Learn SOLAS 74 & MARPOL 73/78)” (Zakiryanova Irina Aksanovna, nomination “Linguistics and literary criticism”).
The winners of the Acadmus competition are invited to sign a contract for the publication of works with Infra-M and their publication in English in Academus Publishing (USA).
