Institute of law
The Law Institute of Sevastopol State University was founded on May 18, 2015. This is the new structural subdivision of SevGU, which carries out fundamental training in the direction of “Jurisprudence” (qualification (degree) bachelor) in accordance with the license received. Bachelor students prepare for the following types of professional activity: standard-setting, law enforcement, law enforcement, expert-consulting, pedagogical.
Qualified legal cadres are in demand in all spheres of human life, including the work of legislative, executive, judicial authorities at various levels, management of enterprises, institutions, organizations, scientific and teaching activities.
Our graduates are potential judges, prosecutors, investigators, lawyers, notaries, legal advisers, lawyers specializing in international maritime law and a huge list of professions for which a legal education is required.
The structure of the Law Institute includes six specialized departments:
“Theory and History of State and Law”;
“Constitutional and administrative and law”;
“Civil Law and Process”;
“Criminal law and process”;
“Financial and Competitive Law”;
«Maritime and customs law».
Currently, work is underway to license the preparation of “Jurisprudence” at the educational level “master’s degree”.
